How do rap names work?
Lil Wayne is Lil + Wayne: a title plus a name, the Southern convention that raised a whole generation of tags. DMX is Dark Man X, an initialism said as letters. Ludacris is ludicrous, respelled until it doubles as a name. Three moves, endless combinations. How do rap names differ across patterns?
